UNIVERSAL COMPOSITE MATERIALS (UCM)
TherraWood is the sole manufacturer of branded wood polymer composite (WPC) outdoor solutions. Company has been established in June 2008 and headquarters are located in Istanbul, Turkey. Manufacturing facilities are located at Corlu, Tekirdag which is 100 km west of Istanbul. Since the first days of establishment, company has grown over 800% in means of turnover. As of today, UCM is operating with 12 extruders with an annual capacity of 6.000 metric tons per year. Total number of employees is 65 person including production. All production steps – wood grinding, polymer recycling, wood drying, mixing, extrusion, tooling, and surface treatment is realized in house.

Other than the domestic market, we export 50% of our production to 42 countries in 4 different continents. Also, 2 new joint ventures established in 2015 in order to serve customers better with local warehouses. First one is TherraWood Middle East Fzc which is located at Sharjah Airport International Free Zone with 400 sqm of warehouse and office facilities. Second one is TherraWood North America LLC which is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia with 1.000 sqm warehouse facilities in Atlanta. Another joint venture (TherraWood Europe GmbH) is planned to establish in Germany at the end of 2016.
